WHITE HOT WINTER
Anyone who knows me knows I'm obsessed with two things jackets and SHOES! I am especially drawn to boots or booties. I noticed recently that something was missing from my boot collection and I knew I needed to begin the hunt. I had searched a little for this missing piece but couldn't find something versatile enough. What is this missing piece you ask?.... WHITE BOOTIES!
So for several months now white boots have been a trending style. I decided to jump on the band wagon and complete that missing piece in my boot collection when I stumbled upon a pair of white Bershka booties in the new pop-up store in Soho. I was immediately drawn to these shoes because they had a heel that was the perfect height to be able to walk all day around NYC in and not die. That is definitely a big deal for me because the last thing I want is sore feet. I also loved that they had a square-ish toe which gave it a more vintage feel. My husband loved them too but immediately called me a, "storm trooper," which made me laugh. I feel like white is a hot color for winter because it breaks all the "rules" of no white after labor day and fashion today is all about breaking rules. From a pair of slouchy worn-in jeans to some tailored cropped slacks, you can pair white boots with a lot of different looks.
