Go-To Workout Brands

Hey all you cool cats and kittens! (if you don’t know this reference please watch Joe Exotic during these quarantine times and thank me later lol) Okay the time has come to share some of my go-to stores for workout and atheletic clothes. I’ll be linking some of my current favs and my tried and true. I’ve received so many messages asking and I think this will be a super helpful guide with some inclusive brands included as well. For reference, I am 5 ft and a size Large top typically and size Large/XL, depending on brand, in bottoms.

Beyond Yoga- I love this brand and have been wearing their clothing for a couple years now. I will say this is more yoga type or slow paced workout attire. It’s always made with super soft and comfy material for those slow flow or light walk days. I wouldn’t recommend so much for HIIT days or cycling days. I do wear pants on some for intense days but feel like bras usually aren’t enough support when I am bouncing around.

Carbon 38- I love love the pieces on Carbon 38’s site. They have their own line and also have other higher end athletic wear brands on their site too. I guarantee you’ve seen someone wearing the super slick black leggings. I actually had a pair and ripped them while cycling (was my fault) and had to buy another pair because I love that much! Seriously makes you feel cool while wearing and the are SOOO comfortable.

Stronger- This is a Sweden-based athletic wear brand and they had sent me some pieces to try and I ended up falling in love with all their items! I have to say I get the most compliments when I wear their sets and all their pieces are probably the most flattering out of any brand i’ve worn. The pieces are super high quality as well. Can’t recommend them enough. I’ll link site since I can’t link specific products through Rewardstyle. Stronger website click here.

Aerie- I feel like this a loved go-to for a lot of women. I love their bras and leggings and I enjoy that they have a mix of good solids and fun prints. I have a pair of leggings that I have owned from them for 3+ years now and they are still like they were on day 1. I feel like the high waisted leggings from them fit me so perfectly.

Joy Lab by Target- Honestly I get a lot of workout pieces from good ole Target but specifically from their Joy Lab collection. It’s a little more modern and trendy and they also have cool pieces that feel like you’re wearing Nike or Adidas lol. Great prices and most of my long sleeve-crop tops were from Joy lab.

Sweaty Betty- I shopped here a lot when I lived in NYC because the store was so close to my home. The workout clothes are a little more pricey but I loved the patterns and prints and quality of their pieces. I feel like they can sometimes run on the smaller side but I love the variety and options they have. I feel like these pieces are perfect for pilates or cycling.

Hope everyones staying safe and social distancing and would love to be tagged in posts or photos when you’re rocking your fitness looks or working out. We can all motivate one another to be strong and stay strong during these times.

XOXO
