Today on my blog I am featuring a brand that I have not only loved for a while now but I use to be an employee at this particular company as well! I have always been a fan of Express and their clothing pieces and I recently came across some amazing summer staples that are great for everyday occasions. They launched some amazing spring/summer collections that incorporate breezy comfortable materials with fun prints and colors and I am super excited to share some with you all.

Living in Hawaii, I am always looking for effortlessly chic outfits. I spotted a maxi skirt while shopping that came in my favorite color, yellow, and also had a soft print on it. I loved how it had a higher waisted because I feel like that flatters so many different shapes and the hidden slit in the front added a nice touch and gave the silhouette some sass. Next, I paired it with this adorable ruffle off-the-shoulder crop top. I feel like crops tops with maxi skirts are so comfortable yet look so stylish. Again, very flattering and if you're nervous about showing skin, this is a good place to start since its just a bit of skin without being too out of the box. This combo for me is a winner when I want to have that cute island style. Now to finish I paired it with some classic one strap leather sandals from Express that are a staple in my wardrobe. They go with everything and are so comfortable. These pieces can also transition from day to night so easily and can be worn separately with so many options.
